One of my favorite things about photography is getting to share what I love with others! As someone who spends her weekdays teaching dance, I have always had a special place in my heart for helping others learn, grow, and find confidence in themselves!

I know that stepping outside of your comfort zone, trying something new, or even asking questions can sometimes feel intimidating. That's why I want my mentorships to be a space where you can show up exactly as you are, feel comfortable, and know that there is absolutely no such thing as a silly question!

My goal is to create a fun, relaxed, and encouraging environment where we can learn together, experiment creatively, and grow your confidence behind the camera. Whether we're talking through posing, finding the perfect light, navigating client interactions, or chatting about the business side of photography, I want you to walk away with something valuable that you can carry into your own journey.

These experiences are designed to be hands-on, personal, and, most importantly, FUN! We'll photograph alongside one another during a couples session, where you'll have the opportunity to practice, ask questions in real time, and capture beautiful images of your own to begin building your portfolio.

Why Choose Me as Your Mentor?

If there's one thing I want you to know before we work together, it's that I genuinely LOVE seeing other people succeed. There is something so special about watching someone gain confidence, discover their creativity, and realize just how capable they really are. Being able to play even a small part in that journey is something I never take for granted!

Outside of photography, I'm also a dance teacher during the week, and I think that has shaped me into the kind of mentor I strive to be! Teaching has taught me that everyone learns differently, and sometimes all it takes is approaching something from a different angle for everything to finally click! I consider myself to be patient, encouraging, and always happy to explain something a different way until it makes sense!

My biggest priority is making sure you feel comfortable, supported, and never afraid to ask questions. I never want you to feel silly for not knowing something, nervous about making a mistake, or like you're bothering me by asking for help. We all start somewhere, and I believe the best way to grow is by giving yourself the space to try, make mistakes, ask questions, and learn along the way!

I may be your mentor for our time together, but I also want to be your cheerleader. I want to celebrate your wins, encourage you through the things you're still figuring out, and remind you that there's room for everyone to succeed in this industry. ( :

My goal isn't to make you a copy of me or teach you to photograph exactly like I do. It's to help you build confidence in YOURSELF, develop your own creative eye, and feel excited about the photographer you're becoming.

  • My mentorships are designed with beginner and growing photographers in mind! Whether you've just picked up your first camera, have been practicing for a little while, or are looking to gain more confidence photographing couples, I'd love to work with you. You don't need to have everything figured out before coming!

  • Not at all! While having a basic understanding of your camera is helpful, you absolutely do not need to be an expert. My goal is to meet you wherever you are in your photography journey and help you grow from there. Don't be afraid to come with questions!

  • You'll need to bring your own camera and any lenses you'd like to practice with. Ideally, you'll have a camera that allows you to shoot in manual mode so we can explore settings and understand how they affect your images.

  • Absolutely! This is a hands-on experience, not just an opportunity to watch me work. You'll have time to photograph the couple yourself, experiment with different poses and compositions, and put the things we're discussing into practice. I'll be right there to offer guidance and encouragement along the way!

  • Yes! You'll have the opportunity to capture your own images during our session and use approved selections to help build your portfolio, provided the couple has given permission. Any images shared must follow the agreed-upon usage and editing guidelines.

  • The Shooting Experience includes a one-hour hands-on couples session where you'll photograph alongside me and receive real-time guidance. The Complete Mentorship includes everything in that experience, plus an additional one-hour private debrief where we can review your images, discuss photography techniques, and chat about the business side of photography.

  • Simply reach out through my contact form and let me know which experience you're interested in! We'll chat about your photography journey, what you're hoping to learn, and find a date that works for both of us. Payment will be required to officially reserve your mentorship date!
